ADDI NIMES

Maicom and his wife Glauciangela stayed 10 years away from the path of the Lord, his wife Glauciangela felt an emptiness inside her that she didn't know how to explain, and because of that she smoked a lot and felt a weight inside her. She decided to go to church, and on a Friday she went to the service at ADDI in Nîmes, and the preaching talked about exchanging her burden with Jesus, that Jesus' burden was light, on that day she prayed saying that she wanted to exchange her burden with Jesus , but that she wanted confirmation and told God that this confirmation would be that she would be able to sleep through the night without getting up once to smoke, as she never managed to get a full night's sleep. When she left church and went home, she managed to lie down and sleep through the night, and didn't wake up once to smoke, and then she knew that this was God's confirmation, so she kept going to church.

Maicom drank a lot and didn't want to go back to Jesus, but he went to some services to accompany his wife, however they fought a lot and were on the verge of separating. One day Glauciangela came home and started having attacks from the enemy, and Maicom had been invited to a barbecue, but he didn't want to accept the invitation because he knew he was going to start drinking, and so he didn't go to the barbecue; at this time the enemy tried to take his wife's life, the two began to fight and found themselves in a situation where the devil came to end their lives, destroy their family, Glauciangela heard the devil saying for her to take her life itself and that this way all that pain she felt would end, and she screamed, because she felt a lot of pain, and the devil told her to hit her head against the wall, Maicom cried out for the blood of Jesus, but the devil made accusations against him, for he had not yet established himself with God. After going through this spiritual battle, they understood what had happened, and so at home, Maicom declared in a loud voice that he accepted Jesus as his savior and at the same time Glauciangela vomited and stopped feeling pain, screaming, and the enemy left. They decided to go to church and confess Jesus before men.

After that day, they never stopped following Jesus. Despite never having had the will to be missionaries and to be at the head of a work, they continued to serve God and support where necessary, they always liked to receive people, advise and help. In 2019 there was a need for someone to lead the ADDI church in Nîmes, and Pastor Daniel de Freitas invited them to be at the head of this mission in the city of Nîmes. Then the Missionary Fernando Ramos arrived and was in front of the church, but they were soon sent to the city of Lyon, where there was a need, and so Maicom and his wife voted to be in charge of the ADDI church in Nîmes, and since then they continue to run this church.
